Kydex is a durable, thermoplastic material that is ideal for knife sheaths. When heated, it becomes pliable, allowing for a precise fit to the shape of the blade.

This material is characterized by resistance to damage, scratches, moisture, and varying weather conditions. A thickness of 2 mm provides optimal rigidity and protection without adding weight.

Kydex sheaths hold the knife securely, enhancing safety. Thanks to the option of mounting on a belt or in MOLLE systems, they are well-suited for EDC and bushcraft.

The optimal temperature for forming is approximately 150 degrees Celsius
Stronger heating may cause the kydex to shrink while maintaining its key properties.
